Installing Acond R Heat Pumps in a Pre-1900s Property in Powys
In our latest project, we had the unique opportunity to blend historical preservation with modern sustainability. Our task was to install two Acond R heat pumps in a charming pre-1900s property located in the picturesque region of Powys. This project was not just about upgrading the heating system; it was about respecting and maintaining the historical integrity of the building.
Removing and repointing the Historic Brick wall
The first step in our project involved carefully removing a section of the old historic brick wall. This was done with utmost care to ensure that the character and structure of the property were preserved. Once the section was removed, we repointed the stone to give it a clean and refreshed finish. Repointing is a meticulous process that involves renewing the external part of mortar joints, which is crucial for maintaining the wall’s durability and aesthetic appeal.
With the wall prepared, we proceeded to install the two Acond R heat pumps. These state-of-the-art heat pumps are known for their efficiency and eco-friendliness. By choosing Acond R, we ensured that the property would benefit from a reliable and sustainable heating solution, reducing its carbon footprint while providing optimal comfort for its residents.
