Who can buy this cover?
You can only buy this cover if:
- Your heat pump was installed by Thermal Earth
- If you own the home you're covering
- Your heat pump was installed less than 12 months ago
What happens if you can’t repair my heat pump?
If we can't repair your heat pump we will replace it as long as we installed it and it's been continuously covered by us under either a warranty or Heat pump care product and providing you have given us access to carry out your heat pump service annually.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my cover?
You can upgrade or downgrade your cover anytime. Changes to your cover will become effective immediately.
Can I speak to someone if I have a question?
You can call us on 01269 833100, Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm with any questions you may have about our Heat Pump Care plans.
How do I cancel my cover?
If you cancel within the first 14 days of your cover start date, and haven't made any claims, we'll give you a full refund.
If you cancel after 14 days, it's a little different. If you've set up a monthly Direct Debit, your cover will continue to the end of the month that your last payment is for. But if you've paid by an annual Direct Debit, your cover will continue to the end of the month and we'll refund you the remaining amount. Please also note that no refunds will be given and charges may apply is a claim has already been made.
What is included in a Heat Pump Service?
A Heat Pump Service includes a series of check(s) to make sure your heat pump is running safely and efficiently. Your engineer will check that your system is operating correctly, check the heating systems anti-freeze levels, expansion vessels, domestic hot water cylinder and pressure valves, for water leak(s), record system operation parameters, clean the heating system filter, check for any damage and wear and tear.
Occasionally, heat pump services may be more than 12 months apart
